LEARN CANTE FLAMENCO WITH TECH
Cante Flamenco Tech is a course which aim is to teach cante flamenco with a technological emphasis. For this reason, the project integrates current sound analysis and music technologies in its application to one of the most characteristic aspects of cante flamenco, such as its vocal resources, which gives an interdisciplinary approach that integrates the acoustic fields, the sound processing and the singing.

Alba Guerrero Manzano: She has a bachelor’s degree in Cante Flamenco (ESMUC), a Master in Research and Flamenco and she is a specialized Technician in Programming. She has been teaching for more than fifteen years at the School of Music Studies-Workshop of Musicians (ESMUC) and she is currently a professor specialized in cante flamenco at the Superior Conservatory of Music “Rafael Orozco” in Córdoba.
Emilia Gómez: She is a Telecommunications Engineer and Doctor in Computer Science. She is an Associate Professor (Serra-Húnter and ICREA Academia) from the Department of Information Technology and Communications (DTIC) of Pompeu Fabra University (UPF). She leads the MIR (Music Information Research) lab of the Music Technology Group (MTG).
